Meet the principals

Micuner leads MMEP with over two decades driving mining and industrial projects from conception to commissioning across four continents. A University of Zimbabwe Electrical Engineering graduate with an MBA, he pairs technical mastery with strategic foresight. He has led the Hunters Road Greenfield project, Trojan Mine re-deepening, restart and flotation plant, the Bindura Smelter & Refinery oxygen injection plant and the Sable acid plant upgrade — and more recently the Sandawana Lithium feasibility study, Shamva Hill Gold and Jena Mines expansion. He served as General Manager Engineering at Bindura Nickel Corporation.

A passionate mining engineer and certified Deswik super-user (CAD, IS and Sched) for both underground and open-pit. Experienced in mine construction and production, short/medium/long-term planning, design and scheduling, cost management and statutory compliance. His career spans Metallon Gold (Redwing, Arcturus, Mazowe), eight years at Bindura Nickel’s Trojan mine up to underground manager, and Group Mining Engineer at Pan African Mining. Trained in ISO 9001/14001.

A mechanical engineer with diversified experience in project management, maintenance engineering and design/fabrication of structural steel and equipment, including destructive and non-destructive testing. He supervised the modernised concentrator install at Trojan Mine and spent 11 years at the Ministry of Energy. Projects include the Kariba Hydro Expansion (300 MW, US$530M) and Hwange Thermal Expansion (670 MW, US$1.174Bn). Trained by PMI, NIWE (India) and the IAEA.

Over 34 years of mining-industry experience from junior exploration geologist to group resources geologist. He managed Trojan Mine’s geological database and resource modelling (JORC/SAMREC, Datamine) and served as Senior Resource Geologist at AngloGold Ashanti’s Siguiri Mine in Guinea. Recent work spans platinum, coal, gold and lithium resource evaluations and numerous due-diligence reviews including Sengwa Coal (2026) and Chegutu Gold (2025-26).
